Believe it or not all aircraft crash at airshows ... Russian ones have done it a bit recently because they've been pushing the limits of their aircraft and their skill as pilots. However afaik there is just as many 'Western' aircraft crashing at airshows historically as Russian ones.

I think it's because of the players.

PoE1 was a VERY close-nit community. You could jump on a server with some one you know, and have a good time, not really caring about score and that nonsense.

I must say though, it's awesome to sniper firestorm with an RPK and have the highest score on my team for a round.

No, its not the players. Many of the players in PoE were total asshats. PoE2's are all around better players. But its just the feel and style of the mod, the way it plays and feels, just doesn't live up to PoE for BFV. I know this mod is just getting started, buts not the best of starts when you look at it as a whole. Jets in PoE2 are god awful to be honest. They are whored to the limit, and suck even more. I just remember playing Op. Sabre and there was actually a good chance to get a jet. The jets were much more fun to fly. Same with the helos. I really don't know how to explain it well.
