Just found a SCAR-L (apparently now referred to as the "Mk.16 SCAR-L"), 2nd generation prototype, with attached FN EGLM 40 mm.
Looks pretty sweet I think..

Now, what I think, is the following:
If there is a spec-ops class, he should definately have the FN SCAR as main weapon, at least american spec ops, when the US joins the war in Europe=)
If you could make it pretty much like the weapon option for Assault class in BF2, so that he could either choose to have the one above, in 5,56x45mm, 30 rd clip, grenadelauncher and relatively long barrel

OR he could choose the Mk.17 SCAR-H, in 7,62x51mm, 20 rd clip, aimpoint, in CQB configuration (Close-quarter battle - shorter barrel)

I know the SCAR has been brought up before, but not with GL, and not in this particular way..
please let me know what you think..=)

Not sure if the images are showing, but here's a link showing both variants

FN SCAR should be in and I for one 'd love to see different types of it (SCAR-L and -H, short/long barrel etc....)

Neh, it doesn't. Remember PoE1, Russian spec ops... They had a powerful AK-74U and C4 yet this didn't cause any trouble.
I'm not saying FN SCAR should be the only spec ops main weapon, just ONE of them (amongst MP 5 or 7)

I loved the spec ops class for russians in poe1, would love to see it return as a nice kit :)

I don't see why the SCAR, especially the SCAR-H, needs a G/L attached. It's already an excelent CQ weapon, so there is no point in adding more power to it.

I don't think PoE-2 will have noobtoobs.

The SCAR with through a minimal physical change. I have to find the link, one of things that were changed was the grip. It can now accept a M16A2 grip.

adjustment: I'd love the FN Scar(-L) in combination with C4, but I agree the nade launcher would overpower that kit

I also do not want to see nade launchers in spawn kits
but i dont see any harm in putting a couple of them in pickup kits, along with SAMs and other kits in armories at a few locations on some maps. Its not like they were ever abused in PoE:1.

The nade launchers are great. Leave them in the assault kit.

I don't have a problem with the GL's staying with one spawn class, but I think that should be the limit.

Yeah I think that's fair. Seriously it's only one kit out of fourteen. If it could have a minimum range that would be good.

We playing the same game? Honestly stop with the rampant fanboyism. The Silenced AKS74U with the red dot scope was horribly unbalancing. It did as much or more damage than anby of the other indantry assault rifles, was extremely quiet, was extremely accurate, has a great sight, a big clip, and came with noobish anti tank grenades. That kit was horribly overpowered.
